Studio Assistant

Lucca House is looking to hire a studio assistant.
Your responsibilities include:

• Assembly and Quality control of the grid system
• Inventory management
• Problem solving and prototyping
• Experience in fabrication/ trim carpentry.
• Knowledge of edge banding and plywood construction
• Knowledge of tools and furniture assembly techniques
• Accuracy and precision in work
• Ability to work in a team
• Manual dexterity
• offsite install days
• Responsibility for assigned tasks
• Willingness to learn and improve professional qualifications
• Driving license  (optional)

Your skills and experience include:

• experience production & assembly / woodworking
• Fine motor skills and experience with hand & power tools, and packaging
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem solving
• Professional and clear communication between team members and clients
• An ability to read and understand production drawings and instructions
• Experience with shipping via FedEx, DHL, and freight is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50lb

Compensation is based on experience

Job is a 1099 position / flexible hours working towards full time.
